When a friend asked me why I did not have compassion for the refugees, I answered “because they are not refugees, refugees do not pay traffickers thousands and then trek across several countries to arrive at a destination of their choice. They are economic migrants demanding entry into a more affluent country than their own.
And where is your compassion for my grand-daughter not to be subjected to sexual attacks, as has happened all over Europe?” All the compassion is for the invaders and none for our own children and their future.
