The link to the Guardian’s interview with Brian Sewell is well worth a click; his views remain as pungent as ever.

As a digression – but rather valid, given the current political situation – his opinion in the article of a certain politician is prescient: ‘But when you look at ministers – that poor, floundering home secretary! She is the necessary woman in the cabinet to keep the feminists quiet. She isn’t any good.’
