A Point of View last Sunday morning was truly appalling. The author managed to encapsulate all the arrogance and the sneering, misplaced superiority and anti-democratic ignorance of the most extreme Remainer.
Inter alia, he compared getting Brexit to a parent promising a child an iPhone and then the parents saying they couldn’t provide it because they lost their job with the child petulantly saying ‘But you promised’. This clearly showed that he regarded Brexiteers as children and parents as the responsible Remainers who know best. I was really very angry with him by the end.
