Reader’s comment: Socialists hate those who stand and fight

In response to Patrick Benham-Crosswell: Onward snowflake soldiers,

Regiments used to be regional families, which used to replenish their ranks themselves. Our Common Purpose politicians have destroyed this wonderful segment of Britain’s heritage. Socialists, and I include the Tories since 1960 here, have always been ashamed of those who have stood up and fought for Britain. CCHQ hasn’t changed with May to Johnson, so the regeneration and transfer of Britain’s military to the EU’s Defence Union will continue without a second thought.
