It’s not just No voters who believe life begins at conception. It’s science. There is no doubt from a biological point of view that what comes into being at conception is a characteristically human life at its earliest stage of development. Some people just seem to think it needs to achieve some particular, arbitrary stage of development to warrant protection, under obscure pseudo-philosophical concepts like ‘personhood’. It is yet another example of the flight from biology and science of the ideological Left.
