It was one of the most irresponsible things you can do and in 20 years’ time the suicides will be on Humphrys’s conscience. I never brought the Humphrys hype, but at least under Rod Liddle as Today editor he’d challenge. This feature was uncontested propaganda. What happened to feminism and the Left? We are at a moment of decadence and decline.
Anyone who has had a family member or colleague struggle with dysphoria, as I have, would see this as the height of exploitation of deeply vulnerable people. Shame on you Today. Is not even childhood sacred?
