I seem to be the only one to agree with you. However, I do agree with other comments that the EU has aggravated the Ukraine and that NATO has interfered too closely with Baltic States for Putin’s liking. But I regularly read the Alexander Boot blog and he does not trust Vlad, as he calls him, as far as he can throw him. Vlad is KGB through and through and everything he does is connected to retaining and gaining power and influence. He runs a corrupt Mafia-like state, as shown by the national doping of athletes. To not be worried about Vlad is a big mistake!
