In response to Laura Perrins: She is the Terminator. She will win,
Nope, Theresa May is just dying the death of a thousand cuts. Last night’s vote showed that the majority of Tory backbenchers don’t support her. We now know that up to 117 Tory MPs will defy her, so there’s no chance of her Withdrawal Agreement going through. Nor does any proposal put forward by her have much hope of success. The likelihood of a No Deal/WTO Brexit arising due to no alternative being approved has increased. If that happens then May will go after 29 March.

So, our Great Leader has ‘won’ a vote of confidence (oh the wonderful ability of the English language to convey nuance), she remains fixated on a strategy which will not pass the HoC. What now? Who knows, but this I do know. The war goes on and will continue until we have left the disaster that is the European Union. If only more of our pathetic MPs would realise it!
You nailed it, Laura – she is laughing at us petty mortals and our puny attempts to protect our country and our democracy birthright.
‘A significant number of colleagues did cast their votes against me, and I’ve listened to what they said.’ So said Theresa May after the vote. And if you believe that, you will believe anything!

The definition of ‘winning’ now seems to include digging yourself deeper and deeper into a hole with the help of ‘friends’.
The vote was fixed by CCHQ from the start.
CCHQ told the last few to send their letters in to fix her there for another year.
It was timed to tell any MP, teetering on the edge of voting against her WA, that CCHQ says what gives, so don’t even think about it, kiddy.
