In response to Darren Selkus: How could Farage do this to me and 316 other willing candidates?

There is literally no party that I can support at the election. Over half the country voted leave and what do they have to vote for?
A load of parties who all want to remain.
If you’re not disillusioned by this then I don’t know what will. We all turned out to vote for Brexit as we felt it time to change politics for the better.
What we’ve been shown is that we have absolutely no power whatsoever and absolutely no parties represent the majority view.
So back to low turnouts and voter apathy, then. The worst part of it is that they are aided and abetted by the remaining conformist part of the electorate who don’t ever want to upset the apple cart.

I feel desperately sorry for the author, his 316 colleagues and the countless foot-soldiers who have given their time, effort and money to give real Leavers a voice. I hope they realise that their efforts are greatly appreciated by the ordinary supporters, if not the leadership.
I also don’t understand why Farage has suddenly decided to trust Mr Die-in-a-ditch after weeks of saying his deal was BRINO.
I have just found out that my BP candidate has been stood down. I do not want to vote for Johnson’s BRINO (nor the climate change/mass immigration/LGBT in schools/NHS spending splurge/overseas aid etc etc etc) that comes with it. I may have to just sit on my hands on 12th December.

Splitting the Brexit vote risks Lib Dem or Labour winning, harsh but that’s life.
