In response to Jane Kelly: The weird world of Channel 4’s dotty Dorothy,
Great article, thanks so much! Dorothy’s performance sounds like Jo Brand as she humbled and berated those two patriarchal arrogant blokes, Paul Merton and Ian Hislop on HIGNFY, at the time of the Weinstein case, Merton and Hislop were guilty as being men and hung their heads in shame, quite properly. And yes the contradictions of this crowd of feminist supremacists: we love ‘diversity’ but we hate pale stale white males who are put under their curse of being fit only for death, and we reject the dead males such as Shakespeare, Dante, Chaucer, Kant and Goethe. VERY funny when an ultra pc MP, Lucas, picked her all-woman cabinet of national unity [!] but left out non-white women, let alone gay women or transgender women, hijabbed women or Jewish women . . . it’s difficult to fit the whole Danny Boyle England into all these women-only power hubs. And is Channel 4 STILL employing the overt hater of the Tories as their lead presenter, his language not fit to reproduce in the family-friendly TCW? C4 does receive tax payer funding, does it not?
then in the vaguely threatening tone I’ve polished over the years, I said . . .
Seriously? Did she really say that? What an ego.

Time was when oldsters had all their corners knocked off during a hard life and we could respect their sense of balance, perspective and wisdom from experience.
Now we find that our ‘treasures’ use this image to ramp up their earnings. ‘Old lady’ indeed! She is only 66 and seems to have had no life experience whatever.
A fairly typical example of the parasite class.
Full of self importance, arrogance, moral rectitude and our money.
I had managed to get through my life without ever having heard of Dorothy Byrne. I wish I had still not heard of her.
Ms Byrne also deplored ‘a loss of a sense of belonging as society fragments’.
Lucky that C4 has never advocated special interest groups, promoted immigration or denigrated the indigenous population, otherwise where would we be?
Behold! Solipsism made flesh . . .
