On the other hand Paul, the EU debate has energised politics. It’s made people realise the shortcomings of how this country is run and the utter hypocrisy of our so-called democracy.
The resulting shake-up is itself politics, and can only help to concentrate and mobilise minds to better sort all our other problems out too.
