In response to John Redwood: My runners and riders: 2) Michael Gove,

Gove, like the entire Tory Party, is irrelevant. I simply cannot wait for the next GE in order to flush away the swamp. The wrongly named LibDems who are neither Liberal nor Democratic, together with the brainwashed Greens who believe they can change the natural rhythms of the earth, but ignore the pollution generated by China, India and the 3rd World generally will form the Opposition. TBP, together with the 35 honourable Tories who voted against the WA on all three occasions will form the UK Government.

Gove has principles. But tomorrow he will have others, often incompatible. Spoke so strongly about Brexit and the plight of the fishermen in particular, then supported the WA that totally sold them down the river. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on ME. Never again.

Gove is an intelligent man who, unlike a lot of his colleagues, is well read and has interests outside of politics. However, he is untrustworthy as a character and his judgement is flawed. I am not convinced he ever really believed in Brexit. How can you respect someone who makes a speech saying why Corbyn is a danger to this country but then is happy to be part of a government that negotiates our future with him?
His credibility took a huge hit when he was amongst that crowd all staring admiringly at Thunberg. I also rather suspect that his wife has far too much influence over him and would be de facto PM!
