Today, or rather, tonight, May 16/17 – is the Anniversary of Operation Chastise – the Raid on the Dams, intended to shorten WW2 by destroying the ability of Nazi industry to produce and proliferate.
Everyone with a good heart and soul worked towards a common goal.
Today, many years later, we are in a world of pettifogging bureaucracies, leaderless, and with no national or common goal, save that of getting unhindered and undamaged through another day.
