In response to Tim Bradshaw: How Boris was smeared with the connivance of the BBC

MaximusChunkatron wrote:

‘The APPG on British Muslims’ definition of Islamophobia has now been adopted by the Labour Party, the Liberal Democrats Federal board, Plaid Cymru and the Mayor of London, as well as several local councils. All of this is occurring before the Home Affairs Select Committee has been able to assess the evidence for and against the adoption of the definition nationally.’

However:

‘could over time cripple the UK’s successful counter-terrorism strategy and counter-terrorism operations’.

So Mayor Khan, Plaid Cymru, Labour and the Lib Dems have adopted an Islamist narrative that goes against the interests of national security. Let’s for a minute pause and remember the little girls blown to pieces in Manchester in case we have forgotten the context.

BBC still trying to smear Boris on Radio 4 programme this morning with allegations of £42m wasted in the bridge. David Davis did an admirable job sticking up for Boris. No mention of the amount Labour lost on the NHS computer system. The BBC who facilitated Savile. I would ram this down the BBC’s throats every time they get sanctimonious. Or how they get significant revenue from the EU and pretend to be unbiased. Yesterday they questioned Hunt about Islamophobia who agreed enquiry was necessary (it isn’t and if it was Javid should undertake it) and Hunt folded and agreed with the BBC. It was a golden opportunity to put BBC on the spot for their muck stirring. What allegations? Made by whom? When? Why not taken to police?

The long term losers were the candidates in this debate, for accepting and not defying the obvious smear tactics from the BBC and allowing themselves to be seated on those ridiculous chairs like naughty schoolboys overlooked by that woman standing behind a lectern. Shame on these pathetic Tories.

Politicians cower when confronted with members of the public on TV and rarely stand up to them, the prime examples in this debate being the Imam and the Green Girl. The latter wanted zero carbon by 2025 but no one had the courage to point out that the science on CO2 is dodgy and that bankrupting the entire country for 1% of the world’s CO2 would only benefit our competitors.
