So Mayor Khan, Plaid Cymru, Labour and the Lib Dems have adopted an Islamist narrative that goes against the interests of national security. Let’s for a minute pause and remember the little girls blown to pieces in Manchester in case we have forgotten the context.

Yesterday they questioned Hunt about Islamophobia who agreed enquiry was necessary (it isn’t and if it was Javid should undertake it) and Hunt folded and agreed with the BBC. It was a golden opportunity to put BBC on the spot for their muck stirring. What allegations? Made by whom? When? Why not taken to police?

Politicians cower when confronted with members of the public on TV and rarely stand up to them, the prime examples in this debate being the Imam and the Green Girl. The latter wanted zero carbon by 2025 but no one had the courage to point out that the science on CO2 is dodgy and that bankrupting the entire country for 1% of the world’s CO2 would only benefit our competitors.
