Seems oversimplified but it isn’t. This is the Orwellian mantra of feminism as recited by Sue Perkins clones. Are they issuing the t-shirts, men’s suit coats and glasses from a central supply office? Is there a lone, very busy hairdresser doing all the shapeless short cuts?
Perpetual rage and resentment is an unnatural state of being. It is, in lefty parlance, unsustainable. It’s also dangerously unhealthy mentally and physically. But the media/education/cultural axis issues feminist dogma round the clock, ratcheting up anxiety in the already anxious and confusion in the already confused. Girls who like boys, romance, a sense of fun, are told – even threatened – that they must nevertheless join the Angry Army and make an enemy out of the very person they’re attracted to.

I completely sympathise with the article but it ignores one fact: the ludicrous cost of property. If a young married couple who are planning to have a family want to buy a good quality house where it is suitable to raise children, it is highly unlikely they will be able to make the mortgage payments with just one wage coming in. If we think it is better for women to stay at home there needs to be a crash in property prices. Otherwise forget it.
