I wish Elizabeth II would go on for ever but unfortunately we know she is in the twilight of her days. There will be another coronation within the next decade. It will be interesting to see what happens. The monarch takes an oath specifically to uphold the Protestant religion. I will be surprised if Charles or William will want to do so, both being totally into multicultural Britain. I expect it will be decided that such an ancient religious ceremony has no place in cool, liberal and secular Britain. The very point of the monarchy will be undermined.
