Has or will Piers Morgan or anyone from mainstream media interview anyone from the Islamic faith in such an offhand way? One that seems to be mocking of the religious belief and showing how it is out of step with the wonders of the modern world.
It’s 2019, says the trans guest. So what? Why does that mean that literally millions of us who do not believe that there are many genders have to be forced into doing so by threat of legal action, possibly loss of livelihood, social standing and who knows what else.
If, as the gang in the studio claim, it is harmless to just attach the pronoun of choice to a person when addressing them, then isn’t it equally harmless that said pronoun is not used? Why has everyone got to fall in line with such a small minority of people?
Why has such a small incident where no one is really harmed been blown up into such a furore? Of course someone is harmed now, and that is someone sticking by his beliefs, in which he means no harm to anyone.
All these people are doing is creating tension, and building up a seething sense of unfairness towards millions of people for the fancies of a few.
This is not just about religious beliefs and whether or not they are out of step with the modern world. This goes far deeper, and it’s not just in the transgender arena that millions of people are being forced to smile and pretend everything is well, when clearly it isn’t.
We now live in a country where people are afraid to say so many things that need to be said, and people are being harmed while everyone looks the other way for fear of ending up in the shoes of Dr Mackereth.
Of course Morgan and the rest of the mainstream media, politicians and celebrities will go along with it, they will go along with absolutely anything thrown at us, because their only belief is in money, power and fame. So I take no lectures in morality and piety such as Morgan was trying to give.
