Shame this won’t happen; but wouldn’t it be a huge and wonderful shake-up if it did?

Great article Kathy, and it’s hard to disagree with a single word. All the Conservatives ever dish out is a long sequence of cynical betrayal and arrogance. The Brexit issue has taught so many people so much about themselves and their country. Vengeance is a dish best served cold, and we have long memories. Let us hope the day will come, when the Red Sea will part . . .

As I said yesterday, there is nothing to stop a former BP candidate standing as a pro-Brexit Independent in a seat held by a Remain-supporting MP, Tory or otherwise. It would give the electors a real choice and would keep Johnson’s feet to the fire.
