You know the saying, “You get what you had coming to ya”? How long did the left-wing media elite think it would take before the American public just basically gave them the middle finger?
Well, they didn’t just give them a middle finger, but a black eye.
How would you feel if you are a former factory worker from Ohio whose job was shipped overseas, and so now you work a minimum-wage job at Walmart? Your monthly health insurance costs are doubling thanks to Obama’s healthcare legislation, and you aren’t sure your kids will do better than you for the first time in American history.
You would feel the country is going in the wrong direction. 7/10 Americans think so.
Yet every time you turn on the TV you hear people referring to you as the “Budweiser voter” or the “cracked-windshield voter.” You are the “uneducated voter” because you are working class and how could anyone educated ever choose this buffoon who has never held political office before? Only a Neanderthal and a “bigot” would want his type of change.
How could you otherwise like his message of “Make America Great Again?” What is wrong with Obama’s America? If you don’t like Obama, you must be a “racist?” No, actually, his policies have made people worse off, thank you. Over $9 Trillion in additional national debt since 2008, there are 21 million people out of work, and 1 in 7 are on food stamps, highest levels. Hmmm…
It is even more rich when the opposing candidate, Hillary, who is supposed to be trying to win votes, calls her opponent’s supporters, a “basket of deplorables.” This is reminiscent of when Obama was initially running for president, and he referred to middle America as those that “cling to their guns and religion.” This was not a compliment, by the way.
On top of the name calling, the media coverage is not balanced for both candidates as they de-emphasise the large number of people at the Trump rallies, and hide the small Clinton crowds. They focus on the crude words said by Trump, which make the headlines, but skim over Hillary’s obvious carelessness with classified information and her conflict of interest with the Clinton Foundation as Secretary of State. It is why Trump gets thunderous applause when he says, “The media are the most dishonest people in the world.”
On one of the media outlets covering the election results, a journalist on the show admitted he did not know one Trump voter. Over 58 million people voted for Trump. You are the media. Leave your hipster village and get the news. Meet different kinds of people and hear their story. How will you ever get the story right if you don’t go where it is? I hope that journalist does not have a job after this election.
But, you see, Republicans and the working class have been called these names for so many years that the shameless liberal comedian Bill Maher actually had to spell out that no, Donald Trump, was the real Satan, not George W Bush or Mitt Romney. Yeah, yeah, I know I called them Satan too, but I didn’t really mean it. I “cried wolf” during previous elections and should not have. I mean it with Trump.
How many times do people hear this and finally go, you know what, I am sick of being insulted by you. You and your snotty friends who do not care about me and my family, and are not listening to what we are genuinely trying to say. You, who just want to tell me how to think, talk, and vote. No more.
