CAN you help us reach our crowdfunding target in the six days we have left? We have raised over £13,000 as a result of readers’ generosity, and we are enormously grateful to those of you who have expressed your belief in what we are doing and the platform we’ve created.
We are however still some way off the £25,000 we need to secure our footing.
The wonderful comments written about us on the GoFundMe site and in emails to us have underlined and reinforced our belief in the need for this, our radical, dissenting and fearless platform for conservative thought.

It provides sound views and argument on our way of life contrary to the obligatory ones propagated by the chatteratti, the ‘elite’, the ‘cogniscenti’, the politically correct and so much of academe with their principal publicity organ, the Biased BBC. We need them and I thank them.
David I think spoke for many when he wrote:
These comments are a tonic for all sufferers from our present plight. It’s so good to know that there are many others out there, linked through TCW, who also yearn for a return to sanity, decency, respect and reason.
And if this website has, as 39 Pontiac Dream says, given small c conservatives like himself a place to express themselves without fear of censorship and has made the commenters feel like part of the TCW family, then we have achieved one important part of our goal.
But the other part is the bigger and harder one. It is to shift the balance of public debate and policy to get our cultural and political critique listened to and acted on if we are to make the world a better and safer place for our children. However we can’t move mountains on our own. We need all the help we can get: to get ourselves properly on the map, to upset that chatterati applecart, to waken the sleeping and make them listen before it is too late.
Anyone who thinks this important and reads us regularly yet has not yet either donated or committed to a monthly ‘sub’ of their choosing, please think about it now.
We work very hard at this end to keep this platform going. We do all we can within our current resources.
Yesterday after the Supreme Court coup for the first time I genuinely feared for my country. We are not ‘hollow men’ as Caroline ffiske described it in her post We will not let this end with a whimper. We must prevail. But it is up to you – whether the fight is for Brexit or in the culture wars for a return to sanity ad civility – if we, the awkward squad who refuse to lie down and take it, are to become a force to be reckoned with.
