St Greta tipped for Nobel Peace Prize

CLIMATE activist Greta Thunberg is the bookies’ odds-on favourite to win the Nobel Peace Prize next week.

The Oddschecker comparison website lists the Swedish 16-year-old at 4/7, with Ethiopian prime minister Abiy Ahmed at 4-1 and New Zeland premier Jacinda Ardern at 9/2.

Last month Thunberg won Amnesty International’s Ambassador of Conscience Award.

Is a troubled teenager, said by her mother to be able to see carbon dioxide, a suitable candidate for the Nobel Peace Prize? Discuss!
