‘I would never have thought a website with the name “Conservative Woman” would end up being my “go to” source of interesting articles’ – a recent comment by a reader.
FIVE years ago, few indeed might have thought that an independent and unashamedly social conservative website would have any attraction in today’s post-modern ‘liberal’ world. How wrong we have proved the naysayers, detractors and sneerers! We have broken open a deep reserve of sympathy for our challenge to the self-interested, hypocritical and arrogant metro-sexual-feminist and not-so-liberal elite, and their demand for compliance with their supposedly correct thinking.
From barely 20,000 page views a month when we launched the site, today we regularly attract well over 800,000 a month, increasing all the time, making us one of the fastest – if not the fastest – growing political websites in the country.
It has been a labour of love, and our survival has depended on the loyalty and generosity of you, our readers. But this is no longer enough to keep us on this trajectory, to continue to raise our profile and to reach the even wider market for our views and analysis we know exists.
We need an extra boost. That’s why we are launching a month-long crowdfunding appeal for TCW today. Our aim is to raise £25,000, the amount we calculate we need over the coming year to put us on a firmer footing and to pay for the help we need.
We are unapologetic about seeking your help. This is no vanity project. It is an all-important mission if what is good about our society and culture is to be conserved; if, post Brexit, Britain is to become a self-reliant and thriving nation state again.

· We fearlessly advocate marriage and the traditional family as the best protection for children and the final bulwark against the interventionist and authoritarian State; arguing for conservative policy solutions that will shrink the size of government, reform tax and benefits, and secure our borders.
· We question and critique all the contemporary orthodoxies, from drug legalisation to quasi- religious climate change science, from moral relativism to multiculturalism and reject the ‘declinism’ and defeatism that would negate Britain and its unique cultural and political heritage.
You will find this combination nowhere else. This is why we are the go-to site for a rapidly growing audience. Our confidence has grown along with the expertise we have drawn to us in the form of the astonishingly skilled and knowledgeable writers who feature regularly on our pages. None takes payment. We provide them a platform to disseminate the views we share as widely as possible.
