TCW Election Watch

OUR reports from you about your constituencies, their MP histories and the pros and cons of the choices open to you at the coming election, will resume on Monday. Please keep sending them in. Instructions below!

But, given the remarkable churn of candidates – unprecedented perhaps – many people simply don’t know who they will have to choose between, let alone anything much about the backgrounds and views of the many new candidates entering the field for the first time.

Conservative Home is providing an extremely useful service updating the latest Tory prospective candidates to be picked for vacated constituencies. You can find out who they are, divided between Conservative-held and target seats, here

Meet the candidates hoping to form the 2019 Conservative Parliamentary intake

Constituencies still to select are also listed.

Send your reports (no more than 250 words) to, with ‘Election Watch’ in the subject line. Give your own name or your TCW commenter name and don’t forget to name your constituency and your MP in the last Parliament. We hope readers will write from all 650 constituencies. We will publish as many as we can!
