In response to Tamara Chabe: Tensions between pro-migrant Germany and the anti-migrant East can only grow, EnglandLaments wrote:
“Excellent article – Merkel is an idiot who is in the process of destroying Europe. But don’t worry, Saudi Arabia to the rescue with an aid package for Germany: They are using their heads and relishing the day when Europe is majority Muslim. I don’t blame them – they have a self interest in spreading their belief system. The trouble with self-loathing lefties in the West is that they have lost interest in defending our own heritage, way of life and belief systems because they are contemptuous of their own culture. When they realise the consequences – intolerance, loss of freedom, loss of free expression, homophobia and misogyny, they may regret it, but by then it will be too late.”
TCW Heroes of the Week
Conservative Eurosceptics have this week defeated David Cameron’s plans to stitch up the European Union referendum. This week 37 Conservative backbenchers, led by Bernard Jenkin and Owen Paterson, voted against the government and restored Purdah for the EU referendum. They have ensured the Government will not be able to use its resources to keep us in this bloated and outdated European Superstate.
We applaud the conviction and bravery of those 37 Conservatives who stood up for freedom and democracy.
TCW Villain of the Week
Labour supporting Emma Thompson spoke to the BBC this week about climate change. The English graduate and actress was treated as an authoritative source, as she spouted how Obama (who recently actually announced a package of green measures that are so radical that they will arguably cripple the American economy if adopted) is in the pocket of ‘Big Oil’, and that Shell were ‘Liars’.
Even the strident Met Office were outraged, warning that Thompson’s remarks were ‘unhelpful’. We suggest that Ms Thompson does not give up the day job.
