TCW Week in Review

Six of the best

Chris McGovern: More PC nonsense. Religious education lessons must include atheism

Cerberus: Labour will disintegrate if its MPs fail to sling out Corbyn

Jane Kelly: Don’t let hand-wringing liberals abolish Christmas

TCW Says: Cameron is right to bomb Islamic State. But he needs a strategy for a lasting peace

David Keighley: Worldwide climate change zealots threaten millions of lives. But you won’t hear that on the BBC

Kathy Gyngell: The BBC pumps out yet more pro-pot propaganda

Reader’s Comment of the Week

In response Jane Kelly: Don’t let hand-wringing liberals abolish Christmas, MrJones wrote:

They’re such liars – in my experience, most of the people behind this push aren’t from other religions, they are anti-Christian PC types who use multiculturalism as an excuse to do what they always wanted – attack Christian traditions.

The exact same people fall over themselves to make sure to celebrate Diwali or Eid for the same anti-traditional reasons.

TCW Hero of the Week

Jeremy Corbyn wants to find a peaceful political solution with a group of fascist, raping, murdering Islamists. Well done Hilary Benn for instead speaking up for decency and common sense.

His barnstorming speech in the Commons should make us all proud to be British and restore some dignity to Labour, a Party that is shamefully led by a man who has sympathised with the IRA, Hamas, Hezbollah – and now wants to sit back and ‘negotiate’ with the worst of all humanity. Would Corbyn have gone to war in 1939? Or would he have negotiated? Benn spoke up for all decent Britons this week.

TCW Villain of the Week

Red Ken has been at it again, calling for the 66 Labour MPs who voted for air strikes to be deselected this week. Forget that it was a free vote. And forget that the majority of the country supports military action against ISIL in Syria. Ken Livingstone and his army of Trot activists want Benn, Beckett, Kendall, Umunna and co. booted out of the Labour Party.

Corbynite activists have even sent death threats to those moderate Labour MPs who supported the government. It is a shameful way to conduct politics – and for his rhetoric this week, Ken is our villain of the week.

Best of the rest

Rev Julian Mann: Islam and political correctness combine to silence Christians

Elizabeth Anderson: Hang on a sec. Before we take her heart, is she really dead?
