Reader’s Comment of the Week

In response to Mark Ellse: Like a starchy golf club, the EU has just expelled its best member, Shaunr19 wrote:

“Let’s hope May’s Cabinet are readers of this blog. But I fear too many of our politicians have been happy to allow Brussels to lead them by the nose, and do their work for them for too long to be able to change now.

Those who are supine towards the EU must be sidelined and ignored.”

TCW Hero of the Week

Boris Johnson continued his good start as ‘diplomat in chief’ when condeming Russia throwing their weight around in Syria. Whilst he was at it, he also called out the lefty double standards of the Corbynista Stop the War Coalition when they refused to condemn Russia but happily laid into US ‘atrocities’.

TCW Villain of the Week

Returning from the weeds of obscurity, former Labour leader and election loser Ed Miliband, allying himself with Tory spoil sports Anna Soubry and Nicky Morgan, was the standard bearer for the grumpy Remainers in Parliament. Demanding that the Government drags their heels is is not the way to implement the will of the British people. Mind you, Ed is no stranger to being out of sync with the electorate.

Looniest Lefty of the Week

Loony foreigner tries to ban our national anthem
