Reader’s Comment of the Week
In response to Lefty Lunacy: Beeb employs Geldof goon to provide Brexit bashing ‘balance’, Harley Quin wrote:
“The BBC has the nerve to describe itself as ‘balanced and impartial’. Sure, balanced impartially on the narrow tightrope of political correctness. It has been the propaganda mouthpiece for the cultural Marxist obliteration of Britain and the dispossession of its people through mass immigration and multiculturalism for as long as I can recall – decades. This malignant organisation has long ago forfeited the right to public money.”
TCW Heroes of the Week
In light of the cowardly decision from the Department for Education’s ‘Counter Extremism Unit’ to ban Milo Yiannopoulos from speaking at Simon Langton Boys School, students of the Canterbury grammar school have penned an open letter expressing their outrage.
“We are capable of analysing an argument and we do not need to be protected from so-called indoctrination,” they wrote. “It is not for anyone but ourselves to say whether or not we can handle having our own convictions challenged.” The letter is worth reading. If only SW1 demonstrated such political maturity.
TCW Villain of the Week
The Liberal Democrats’ sanctimonious moaner-in-chief Tim Farron popped up on that bastion of balanced debate last night – BBC Question Time. He used this opportunity to fire a full 36-gun broadside on Brexit hero Nigel Farage, claiming the Ukip leader does not represent “British values”.
Paging Mr Farron. The Liberal Democrats received 2.4 million votes at the last election, Farage’s Ukip 3.9m. So Nigel obviously represents the values of more Brits than sore loser Farron.
