“Every government increases spending on the health service by “more than inflation”; and every government presides over crisis after crisis…… I sometimes think we ought to rename it as “NHS in crisis” because that is its usual state. But still, we must all carry on worshipping and stuffing money into this crippled, bloated, bleeding, bellowing beast as it struggles to keep itself upright.”

Andrew Neil is one of the few BBC presenters to scrutinise the left as well as the centre right. This week he tore apart Nick Clegg’s absurd claim that the British public didn’t know that Brexit would mean leaving the single market. Andrew Neil put Clegg’s nonsense to bed, showing him video footage of before the EU referendum where all the senior figures in the Leave and Remain campaigns stated that Brexit would mean leaving the single market. The icing on the cake was the footage of Clegg saying so himself! For schooling whiny chief remoaner Nick Clegg, Andrew Neil is our TCW Hero of the Week!
TCW Villain of the Week
Transgender soldier Chelsea Manning, convicted of handing over classified government materials to WikiLeaks was released this week. President Obama caused outrage when he granted Manning clemency in his final days in office. Manning caused untold damage to the United States and her allies. following her release, rather than just settle quietly back into normal life, traitor Manning has plastered her photos on instagram and paraded around as a hero of the transgender movement. Some people have no shame!
