TCW’s end of year report: Exposing vaccine harm, standing firm for freedom

THIS time last year Boris Johnson was still busy putting the frighteners on the population over Omicron, that South African Covid variant that never posed a health threat.

On December 8, he’d moved the country to Plan B. Remember? No, me neither – I had to look it up.  Well, for those of you with short memories, it was another fearmongering initiative that ordered people to work from home, wear masks in public places again, and to prove vaccination status with Covid passes to get into public venues. And yes, of course, to get a third booster jab as a matter of urgency. In Johnson’s own words, it was about ‘buying more time to deliver more boosters’.

None of it was necessary. Yet Johnson did not repeal those euphemistically described ‘social restrictions’ until January 19 (for working from home) and January 27, for mask rules and passes.

So began 2022 – the Year of the Booster, the Year of Vaccine Injury Denial and of Excess Deaths, a year of appalling individual and public health damage, coming on top of lockdown’s impact on the population’s health and the persistent impossibility of getting medical appointments, diagnostic referral and treatment.

The booster programme was the last of the pounds of flesh exacted by Johnson for our liberty. Lest anyone forget, that’s a liberty that will never be won back for the thousands of vaccine injured.

The iniquity of the vaccine bribe – a vaccine that should by then have been halted – a false quid pro quo for a freedom that was taken away on false pretences, is what, inevitably, we have concentrated on in our reporting and commentary at TCW over the last year.

I say inevitably, because when Laura Perrins and I set up The Conservative Woman eight years ago, we were concerned most of all about the State’s takeover of the family and the nationalisation of children, with all its negative consequences –not least the youth compliance we have seen these last two years.

But not in our worst nightmares did we ever think the State, under a so-called Conservative government, would ride roughshod over our very freedom of movement, would be prepared to sacrifice children’s wellbeing for adult ‘safety’ and put two fingers up to that most fundamental of human rights, medical autonomy, imposing an untested ‘vaccine’, to ‘solve’ a manufactured threat.

We’ve had no choice this year but to carry on exposing the Covid lie – the lie about the threat, the lie about vaccine safety and the lie about vaccine efficacy – and especially (thanks to Paula Jardine) the unelected, self-appointed, supranational figures and agencies behind it.

Other topics have not fallen by the wayside, notably the suicidal insanity of Johnson’s dictatorial Net Zero energy policies, which mirror so many aspects of Covid policy; our declining defence capabilities and the Ukraine war – a war we should not be supporting.

The cross-Channel migrant tsunami that David Raynes warned about on TCW right back in 2016 has come true, while the rise of crime continues to mirror the collapse of policing.

The culture wars we thought we were fighting have turned into a war by the Government on us, and a veritable battle for our future against the unaccountable elites to whom so much wealth and power has been transferred, and against their new Nazism, or medical fascism – an issue Karen Harradine writes about this week.

I have been on a personal mission this year to highlight the Yellow Card vaccine adverse events reports by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) each time they are updated.

I am still staggered that despite the near half a million people seriously affected (these aren’t simply bruises, local swelling and arm ache – there are 2,362 fatalities to date) neither the press nor the BBC, ITV, Sky, etc have reported this at all. What are the editors scared of? Can they really say there is nothing to be seen?

We have also continued to publish letters addressed to the MHRA and the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) coordinated by the indefatigable retired consultant paediatrician, Dr Ros Jones, and signed by now more than a hundred senior doctors and scientists, providing detailed evidence based warnings of vaccine risks and harms, that again the MSM has steadfastly ignored.

I also took the decision, with the help of the remarkable Charlet Crichton, founder of UK CV Family to start publishing the accounts of the vaccine injured themselves.

Anyone who has been dismissive of their plight cannot deny their shocking stories – painful to read, but crucial to relate. No one could make their words up. I have been moved too by TCW readers’ responses of sympathy and support. Bar one or two of the indelibly tin-eared, their comments speak volumes about the decent community we are at TCW

Our decision not to let up on the ‘lies in the time of Covid’, our clear editorial stance – calling out those responsible, whether it be the Government, its chief medical officers or the MHRA, for what looks like sheer criminality – is what readers have responded to. Our ten top blogs of the year, which we start republishing from tomorrow (in reverse order) are heavily biased towards the interrogation of the official Covid narrative.

Of course, our stance has not made us popular with the powers that be.  I was permanently suspended from Twitter for ‘Covid misinformation’ last July and Mr Musk has not yet let me back on.

But perhaps worse than this was the censorship of our site by the British Board of Film Censors last May. The board ruled that our content needed to be put behind adult filters, that it was unsuitable for under-18s. Anyone trying to read our website on their phone between May and mid-August got a ‘connection failed’ message as though it was us at fault, that our site had gone down.

We learned the hard way that the BBFC doesn’t just censor films, but provides a  ‘classification framework’ that mobile phone operators have to abide by as to what sites they are allowed to ‘deliver’. It extends well beyond porn, as we, a socially conservative site, found out.

After legal advice and an intervention on our behalf by the Free Speech Union, we were contacted by the BBFC in mid-August and able to question its decision directly. The board said it was not our blogs that were unsuitable for under-18s, just a tiny number of the approximately 40,000 comments that are posted on the site every month. We have been able to reassure the BBFC as to our moderation processes on comments that may be deemed racist and homophobic, etc, and thankfully the ban was finally lifted two weeks ago.

Despite these attempts at chipping away our readership, we have still managed to sustain monthly page view figures of just under a million, thanks in no small part to the focus of our articles and the quality of the writing.

On that front, it’s been wonderful to publish some exciting new writer-warriors this year – Stephen McMurray, Iain Hunter, John Hale, Philip Patrick, Paul Collits, Paula Jardine, Serena Wylde, to name but a few. My thanks go this Christmas to all our writers and indeed to the people without whom our TCW Daily would not drop into your inbox – I mean, of course, Margaret and Alan Ashworth, who daily go so far beyond the call of duty that it is impossible to describe, and Emma Kane, our brilliant webmistress.

Of course, none of what we do would be possible without your support. By the standards of similar publications, we still operate on a shoestring and once again I am looking at the TCW bank account in some alarm, with barely enough to cover basic costs this month.

It is a terrible time to ask people for money, with ever-rising energy bills and living costs, so only to the people who can still give, who have the wherewithal, I beg you to do so.  It would be terrible if our platform, really the only one of its kind in this country, had to close if we couldn’t meet our costs. Don’t let that happen, please.

Before I close, many of you will have heard by now that Mark Steyn suffered two heart attacks last week. I know you will want to join with me in sending him all best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery. Our thoughts and prayers are with him. He has ‘hinterland’ of experience, knowledge and political understanding that gives his analysis depth and weight. He is a true hero of our times. His contribution this last year on GB News has been extraordinary and brilliant. I have never liked or admired a broadcaster more. He’s shifted the dial in a way no one else could have done, with humour and wit as well as the occasional ire. He has inspired us at TCW to keep forging ahead with our fight for freedom and what’s morally right.

Which brings me to a final and positive announcement – that of TCW’s first public event in the New Year. Please save the date of Thursday, February 9 (6pm to 9pm) for the London premiere of Mark Sharman’s remarkable film about the vaccine injured, Safe and Effective: A Second Opinion, a celebration of dissidence event, to be hosted by Mark Dolan. Tickets will be on sale shortly. Keep your eyes peeled here on the website for further details. We hope as many TCW readers as possible will come – there will be time for mingling!

In the meantime, please accept my best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy and more enlightened New Year.
