TCW’s first podcast with the fabulous Right Said Fred

WE did it! For years now I’ve been told we should do our own podcasts. Well, thanks to Richard and Fred of Right Said FredI finally dipped my toe in the water. A chance meeting with these two independently minded, courageous, straight-talking, irreverent and ‘funny to make you laugh,’ dissidents, provided an opportunity not to be missed. I didn’t.

What an example they are to their cowardly and compliant ‘celebrity’ peers! Here’s a taster of their bang on the nail observations:

‘Three to four hundred years ago people were being burned at the stake for what they believed in, but today the churches of the Church of England can’t even keep its doors open.

There is a pathological weakness going on in this country

The government has made no attempt to extol the virtues of liberty and privacy

If investors aren’t already speaking to Maajid Nawaaz, they bloody well should be. He has leadership qualities, he’s really credible, he’s a very good speaker….

Johnson can write about Churchill, but he ain’t no Churchill.’
