WHY are they doing this? This was trending on Twitter and is often the reply if you express an opinion that this Covid-crisis was, if not planned in detail, then at least vested interests have taken advantage of it. They are doing this because They can. They are in charge and you are not, and you better get used to it.
You know that anxiety you feel at the pit of the stomach, the dread you experience now and again at the thought of Christmas being cancelled, the small joyous moments that are frequently crushed on the say-so of the Ayatollahs of Sage? The anxiety, the dread, the despair – that IS the point. That is why they are doing this.
Never have I witnessed such a propaganda campaign to terrify and subjugate the population into submission. The government and the media balance this with pumping lots of funny money into the system to pacify the population. That’s why there has been so little pushback so far from the public.
Subjugation and pacification – the drip, drip of bad news and ridiculous scare stories is constant. This week we were told there will not be a peak of deaths; it will be moderate but more long-running. In other words, you have flattened the peak. So what’s the problem?
I opposed the first lockdown not because I believed in a great conspiracy but because I am against revolution. The default position of any conservative should be stability; supporting the status quo while looking for slow and steady reform. It most certainly should not be destroying the economy, our way of life and the future of the rising generation because of a flu.
A lockdown is so radical that vested interests, forces that seek revolution and destruction, will look to use it for their own gain. That is what we are seeing now. This is why lockdowns are unethical, immoral and should be opposed by all right-thinking people.
Now the Ayatollahs of Sage and their lackeys in the House of Commons are threatening to come for your Christmas. George Useless tells us that controlling the virus is more important than Christmas.
They are threatening to break up large family gatherings. If the repeated threats to lock up family members because they have the temerity to want to spend time together and the constant uncertainty and inability to plan anything is starting to tip you over the edge, that’s the point. That is the very point of this campaign – to weaken you and your mental strength.
Why are they doing this? Because they can. Because we have given away so much, so far and so fast they figure that they can come for Christmas too.
I suspect there are a lot of narcissists in government – and ruining an ordinary family gathering at Christmas is exactly what they want. Crushing other people’s fun is what they do. Does that answer your question of why? Because this kind of mindless use of arbitrary power is what gives the likes of Matt Hancock their sense of joy.
We are told that everyone must bow to this regime. They are the ones in charge – they get to tell you whether buying a jumper for your kid in October is ‘essential’ and if you are living in Wales it is not. Now they will tell you how much joy and merriment they will ‘let’ you have at Christmas. They tell ballet dancers that they can retrain as computer nerds. Crush the culture, crush creativity, crush their humanity – that IS the point.
What can you do? First, resist this population subjugation and pacification campaign. Take off your mask. Leave the house and do not accept Zoom parties as a substitute for actual parties. Plan those joyous occasions and gatherings and go to them if you can. Do not talk up the media hysteria to your friends and family. Make it known that you are no longer collaborating with this Covid-fascist regime. Resist it.
