IT was a nasty moment for Health Secretary Sajid Javid when he visited King’s College Hospital in south London to talk about plans to force NHS staff to be vaccinated. No doubt he expected a sycophantic chorus of approval but first one medic told him: ‘I’m cheesed off’ before consultant anaesthetist Steve James spelled out precisely why he was not vaccinated and would never be.
Sky News then had the cheek to call Dr James ‘vaccine-hesitant’.
We hail Dr James for speaking truth to power.
