THE irrepressible Australian science blogger Jo Nova has visited Britain with some very important advice about how we can have a more woke electricity grid.

Inspired by events in South Australia, she explains how we too can experience the joy of blackouts: bringing us closer to nature, relieving our children from screen addiction, and helping us to see the stars more clearly.

Not to forget of course that blackouts are the ‘only 100 per cent antidote to the BBC . . . the only time it isn’t biased’. Who could ask for more than that?

With more energy resources per capita than almost any place on Earth, Australia has somehow managed to take top spot for electricity prices, a truly outstanding achievement.

You must watch Nova’s excellent guide, How to Destroy a Perfectly Good Electricity Grid in Three Easy Steps, to find out exactly how it’s done.
