This week following Easter we have decided to return to our Jewish foundations, and look at the Ten Commandments.
Dennis Prager believes that committing evil in God’s name is the worst sin and unforgivable, as he explains here:
We cannot have a more relevant commandment today than this, with people frequently killing others in God’s name.
Many of us were traditionally taught the Third Commandment as ‘Do not take Our Lord’s name in vain’.
Prager explains this is not what this commandment is about. Instead the key point is: Do not do wrong in God’s name. To do so is deeply damaging to God and to all faithful people.
