HomeCOVID-19The vaccine prick

The vaccine prick

-

MY expression is so snooty

My smug face you could stab

Yes, I’m quite insufferable

For I have had the jab

It was painful somewhat

And it left a little scab

But now I feel superior

For I have had the jab

No dodgy stuff from China

Or Russia or Punjab

I got good old AstraZeneca

The day I had the jab

I wear proudly like a medal

(It really looks quite fab)

The sticker that they gave me

To show I’ve had the jab

Now I’m condescending

When with my pals I gab

Try not to be too scared, chaps

One day you’ll have the jab

Everyone who sees me

Side-scuttles like a crab,

They now know not to mess with

A bloke who’s had the jab

As all around us flounder,

The future we will grab

The invulnerable, the new elite

We folk who’ve had the jab

But what’s this? It’s an email

A message from the lab

My vaccine batch was faulty

And, er, I haven’t had the jab.
