THIS time last year the Government was pushing its vaccine rollout down through the age groups. Prescient as she has always been on matters Covid, Laura Perrins anticipated the start of the vaccine apartheid and the ‘othering’ of the refuseniks. For a whole year now the political and media establishment has led the way in insultingly and inaccurately terming vaccine sceptics as either anti-vaxxers or ‘vaccine hesitant’ (that is, idiots). For all the so-called bonfire of the restrictions, vaccine apartheid persists. Whether you are a student, a shop worker or an NHS employee, life for the unvaccinated is difficult and discriminatory.

In the same week Janice Davis was one of the first to warn that Bill Gates’s philanthropy was not all it seems. In this article she drew attention to the Geneva-based organisation Gavi Alliance, also known as the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation (GAVI), a public-private global health partnership which aims to increase access to immunisation in poor countries, with an immunity all of its own.
