To break the tyranny and restore freedom, vote Reclaim tomorrow

-

WHAT has happened to our country? I wake up most mornings thinking this. I imagine many of you do the same. How could we have come to this? And, most importantly, what can be done about it?

Much excitement is being generated by the MPs who defied the regime over Plan B yesterday. But it matters not. With Labour as the Tories’ ideological bedfellows, it’s going to take more than a few dozen rebels to halt the insane, unscientific, illogical, irrational and inevitable slide into tyranny.

We live in a one-party state. There is no opposition. There’s only one hope against the full might of the current regime and its propaganda arm, the mainstream media. It lies in the small emergent parties and most of all in Reclaim, the party I lead.

In the last 18 months I have spent hundreds of hours talking with the leaders of the smaller parties about how we can support each other, either by joining forces or creating a working coalition where we stand aside and support each other in various elections. With varying degrees of success.

Despite this, sadly, we find ourselves in competition in the North Shropshire by-election tomorrow. It’s an odd feeling. On the one hand, I want all truly oppositional parties to do really well and on the other, I know that to succeed, Reclaim must lead.

One thing is clear. Time is running out. With the Conservatives becoming ever more socialist, Labour’s obsession with identity politics and Palestine, and the Liberal Democrat leader’s cowardly refusal on Andrew Marr’s Sunday programme to accept that women exist, the main parties are so out of touch with the people that there is no legacy party one can reasonably vote for.

Step forward the Reclaim Party and our own brilliant North Shropshire candidate Martin ‘The Lionheart’ Daubney. The son of a coalminer and brought up in Nottinghamshire, Martin was a successful journalist and editor before serving as a Brexit Party MEP, and is, of course, Deputy Leader of Reclaim.

He is fearless and principled and never one to pull his punches.  He is uncompromisingly principled in defence of British democracy and liberty, as anyone following his Twitter feed already knows.

North Shropshire could not have a better champion in the cause of decency and justice. Some of the ‘brave’ MPs threatening to vote against the tyranny of this government, should truly stand up for these principles too and trigger a series of by-elections. That would make the government stop and think. The Reclaim Party has the will and funding to support them.

Some of you may have read that our backer, Jeremy Hosking, has just doubled his pledge to the party coffers, taking his investment in our fledgling party to £10,000,000 – reflecting his belief in the need for a major new political force in this country.

It is a humbling and staggering figure. This is a statement of intent and a commitment to build and grow as fast as possible over the coming years to unsettle the comfortable status quo of the professionals in Westminster. Most of whom have never had a real job.

Martin Daubney represented the area of the West Midlands as an MEP and helped deliver Brexit. Once achieved, he stepped back into the media to fight the broader culture wars again.

He was the obvious choice for me to ask to become my deputy and halt the cultural capture that has overwhelmed our great nation. To start the process of reclaiming our national institutions, our failing education system and reclaim free speech and expression.

We need a balanced, scientifically rational, economically honest, debate on the climate. We need a truthful debate on green taxes and ending illegal immigration and people trafficking.

We need to put an end to the binary – in fact, divisive and discriminatory – view of politics that there is a right way and a wrong way. That if you don’t support the woke ideology of identity politics and the diversity, inclusion and equality (the acronym DIE ironically) you are in some way beneath the conversation. Trapped in an ignorant cycle of stupidity and ignorance. That if you don’t agree with the metropolitan moral supremacists, you are a deplorable and you must be silenced.

The Reclaim party stands for you. We stand for your right to express yourself and be part of the story of this country moving forward. We aren’t in this for power or cushy after-dinner speech cash, or places on boards once we reach retirement age.

The professional political class live in a bubble of meaningless platitudes. Levelling up. Build back better. These people live in a dreamland, where they think phrases will appease a battered and weary population. Their hypocritical moralising may work in London dinner parties, but it isn’t landing in North Shropshire.

In contrast, I was in Oswestry last week at the same time Boris barged in for ten minutes to jump the jab queue and get his booster, only to swan off back to London shortly after.

A man stopped me in the street. His hand gripped tightly round my arm. He tearfully and angrily told me of his horrific and futile attempt to save his mother’s life with CPR whilst waiting for an ambulance.

Desperately pumping her chest, he looked up through the window to what was once the local ambulance station. Now closed. So much for levelling up.

His wife begged him to calm down. Gently telling him that it was too soon to talk about what had happened. He ignored her. He needed to vent his outrage and sadness about what had happened. I could only listen to his visceral rage at the Conservatives and did what I could to console him.

I put it to you that now is the time for change. I put it to you that we don’t need ‘Vichy’ Tories as the self-appointed opposition. I put it to you that we need something fresh, new and dynamic.

I didn’t get into politics because I wanted to. I got into politics because I had to. The Reclaim Party stands for you. I stand for you and Martin Daubney is the hardest-working and best candidate for the job. Let’s show the Tory/Labour regime that there is another way. Vote Martin Daubney for the Reclaim Party tomorrow in North Shropshire.
