ACTION is being taken to halt the increasing practice of converting public lavatories to ‘gender-neutral’ facilities. Ministers have told officials to see whether changes should be made to building regulations so that they make it explicitly clear that ‘women must be allowed access to female-only lavatories in public buildings’.
A government source said: ‘The government is committed to maintaining safeguards that protect women. Proper provision of separate toilets for both men and for women, which has long been a regulatory requirement, should be retained and improved.’
Can we now expect the government to row back on all the other woke policies they have encouraged, such as allowing individuals to self-identify in their choice of sex and the introduction of trans and gay ideas to infant school pupils? Discuss!
