THE BBC Newsround programme surveyed 2,000 eight- to 16-year-olds and found that nearly three-quarters (73 per cent) were worried about the state of the planet. One in five had suffered a bad dream about it.
When asked about the action being taken by adults to tackle the problem, nearly two-thirds say leaders aren’t listening enough to young people’s views.
These findings in a BBC survey are ironic considering that the corporation is a leading purveyor of the climate change propaganda being shovelled out in schools and in the media.
Is there any way to counter the tide of irresponsible climate hysteria that’s causing children such anxiety, to the detriment of their mental health? Isn’t it high time for sensible parents to protest? Discuss!
