AN Ipsos MORI poll published this week found that public confidence in the NHS to deal with coronavirus has fallen to the lowest level since the pandemic began. The figure of 35 per cent who are not confident the NHS can cope is up 11 points from November.
Strangely, I have not seen this reported anywhere – it certainly has not been headline-grabbing. Yet surely it should be of some concern. Though the NHS has become the National Covid Service, and other health issue have been sacrificed in this cause, the public don’t seem to be reassured.
