Today’s talking point

-

BORIS Johnson says his so-called ‘roadmap to freedom’ is no guarantee England will end restrictions by the scheduled date of June 21.

The Prime Minister’s proclaimed intention to lift the clampdown in phases up to midsummer has been graphically described by Peter Hitchens as an extension of ‘the National Strangulation Policy’.

More maze than map, are we going to accept being lost in it for as as long as Mr Johnson remains unchallenged in Downing Street and until someone manages to grab the steering wheel from this chaotic and dangerous man? Or should we force our own exits by simply ignoring this latest round of intrusive, arbitrary and irrational regulations that he’s imposing on us like the worst of school masters.

When I asked on Twitter, ‘will you be waiting to June to hug someone?’ only the tiniest of minorities said yes.

Will you?  What else should we ignore? What should we protest against out loud?

Please feel free to discuss this or anything else on your mind.
