POLITICIANS don’t often get a good press, but it was good to see members of the Christians in Parliament all-party group producing this video telling the Easter story.
By our count 21 Parliamentarians are involved in the video out of 650 MPs, 798 peers and around 3,000 staff, so it is not a huge movement. Nor is Leader of the House Jacob Rees-Mogg, a prominent Roman Catholic, featured. But the fact that the video was made at all and that these 21 were prepared to put their heads above the parapet and make the unfashionable statement that they are Christians is cause for celebration.
