A reader wrote to us: ‘The website of the Office for National Statistics has a page where you can enter your postcode and it informs you of how many deaths there have been in your area. I did this, and I found to my utter amazement that in an area of over 11,000 souls (census 2011, although many more by now) only 11, yes, 11 people have died with Covid-19 in the whole period from March to November last year. And this is deaths “involving” Covid, not deaths “from” Covid.’

This is the ONS website page, which is due to be updated soon.
You should be able to find the population of your area/town by entering the name of the town and ‘population’ into Google.
