NOT that I give a damn about the European Pride Festival, otherwise known as the Eurovision Song Contest, but if they’re virtually going to announce the winners before the supposed ‘contest’ has even started, shouldn’t they rename it Eurovision Songs?
No surprise that Ukraine won it, because they are fighting a war, and the UK came second, because they’ve given more in aid than any other country. The BBC laughably carried an article yesterday: ‘How the UK broke its losing streak.’ Erm, the UK didn’t win so it hasn’t broken anything.
Despite other countries having conflicts in the past, they haven’t automatically been declared winners before the event occurred, so what’s different about Ukraine?
Feel free to discuss this or anything else on your mind.
