Prime Minister Liz Truss has sacked her Chancellor of the Exchequer Kwasi Kwarteng, in office for just over five weeks. In doing so she shows herself to be the captured puppet of her Parliamentary Party, not its leader, and a captive of the Left. It is a dark day for conservatism and our country.
