We will balance in favour of Farage and Reform UK as long as broadcaster bias continues


WHILE Ofcom and the BBC continue to discriminate against Nigel Farage’s Reform UK and refuse to reflect that his party is now the lead opposition party, we at TCW will do our best to counter this by giving full coverage to their key announcements and press conferences.

We start with yesterday’s press conference in which Mr Farage laid out the bias against them in both polling and in their broadcast access. The BBC, for example, currently is allocating Reform UK only the time to reflect an 8 per cent position in the polls though they are now a percentage point ahead of the Conservatives on 19 per cent. Ofcom has ruled, he said, that only the parties that entered the fray in the last two elections count for broadcast debates.
