Pregnant women should be offered a Covid vaccine, says new Government advice. While the JCVI advises that it is “preferable” for pregnant women to be “offered” the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines “where available” due to there being more “real-world data” on these, they will be offered the AstraZeneca vaccine where an alternative is not available. This is spite of the fact that the JCVI itself says “more research is needed” on the impact of this vaccine on pregnancy – BBC News
