Not a peep from the media as thousands march against lockdowns across the country
Less than a month ago, thousands gathered in London to protest against the idea of vaccine passports. The BBC was silent then, and it is silent now, following more marches that took place on Saturday across the country against lockdowns and in protest against the BBC’s coverage of Covid. Thousands upon thousands gathered outside BBC offices in a number of city centres and chanted ‘shame on you‘, but those on the inside pretended not to hear. The corporation’s news editors did, however, find the time to publish stories on their homepage – under the banner ‘Must see’ – on ‘cattle grazing in gardens’ and on ‘a lost whale’. And, of course, on pro-Palestine protests.
