The Conservative Woman, as our many of our kind supporters realise, does not run on thin air. It runs on the money you give us through your donations and the money we get from advertising, plus a huge amount of voluntary work and goodwill.
As a result of the generosity of many of our readers (for which we thank you and are truly grateful) we were able to update the website at Christmas, making it more accessible, promotable and better protected. The effect on our readership was dramatic and immediate.
But even with the advertising boost this gave us it is still proving a struggle to cover our basic costs and make ends meet on a monthly basis.
Every £5 from you makes a difference – what we need is for more readers to make a regular monthly commitment, however small that is. And of course more if you can afford it!
We think we are worth it and that the world is a better place for The Conservative Woman. We are doing more than keeping a flame alive: we are fighting the cancer of feminism and identity politics, we are setting a new path forward. Yes, sometimes it feels as if we are paddling upstream – but we believe, especially from the comment streams on the site, that now the zeitgeist is with us, not ‘the 1968ers’ with whom the young are increasingly disillusioned. Only by restoring the sovereignty of the family as well as the nation will young people have the strength and support systems to survive globalism and to navigate and survive the fourth industrial revolution. The establishment will have to wake up to this sooner or later. We will not stop holding their feet to the fire.
But we can only do that with your continuing support. If you are not already making a regular payment through PayPal, here or via the link on the sidebar, or directly into the TCW bank account – please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for the details – please think about doing so.
Our mission is important. It is about our children’s future.
Happy Easter and thank you!
Laura and Kathy
