IT’S Day 30 and my Conservative MP, Louie French, recently elected to represent Old Bexley&Sidcup, still has not replied to my letter despite a reminder, follow up email and despite it being published in TCW on January 20.
The jury is out on whether I put Mr French on the spot with my request for the scientific evidence that supported his decision to vote with the government’s vaccine mandate for care workers, 40,000 of whom have subsequently been sacked. Is Mr French still searching for that evidence or does he simply not think it is his job to read or acknowledge his constituent’s letter, not even an automated proforma reply to say he is dealing with my request?
It betrays either arrogance or incompetence. You could ask of the Conservative Party: where do they find them?
